Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group and a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, announced a major development on May 25, 2026. The company secured an order for 715 vehicles from VRL Logistics, a prominent key logistics player in India, marking a significant deepening of the collaboration between the two entities.

The new consignment of 715 vehicles includes specific models tailored for the logistics sector: AVTR 3120 haulage trucks, BOSS 1615 trucks, and Oyster staff buses. This order reinforces Ashok Leyland's standing as a trusted mobility partner within the Indian market.

Operational Milestones​

The sustained relationship between the companies continues to deliver vehicles as planned. To date, 300 trucks have been delivered, with the remaining 415 units scheduled for execution within the current year.
