Apollo Micro Systems Awarded Indian Navy Prototype Sanction Order for Autonomous Naval Maritime Warfare Platform​

Apollo Micro Systems Limited has been awarded a Make-II Prototype Sanction Order (PSO) by the Indian Navy, recognizing the company's capabilities in indigenous Naval Maritime Electronic Warfare. The prestigious order pertains to the design, development, and prototype demonstration of the Semi-Submersible Autonomous Vessel for Intelligence, Operations and Reconnaissance (SAVIOR-ASW).

The SAVIOR-ASW platform is described as an unmanned, semi-submersible maritime system developed for persistent Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) surveillance. This advanced system incorporates state-of-the-art technology, including advanced acoustic sensors, encrypted multi-channel communication systems, and AI/ML-based target classification capabilities.

This contract marks a significant milestone for Apollo Micro Systems Limited, serving as its formal entry into the domain of autonomous maritime and underwater warfare systems. The technologies being developed under this program are highly futuristic and align with the Government of India's Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, furthering indigenous self-reliance in defense manufacturing.

The award underscores the company's technological capabilities and strategic role within India's critical Defence technology ecosystem, particularly regarding Naval Maritime Warfare advancements.

As a Make-II category project, there is no cost obligation committed by the Government during the prototype development phase. The procurement of the system is committed contingent upon the successful demonstration of the prototype.
