Anand Kumar Appointed General Manager (Material Management) at Bharat Coking Coal Limited
Bharat Coking Coal Limited has announced a change in its senior management structure, appointing Shri Anand Kumar as the new General Manager and Head of Department (HoD) for Material Management, effective April 27, 2026.The appointment follows the transfer of Shri Parthaasis Ram, the former General Manager / HoD (Material Management), to another subsidiary of Coal India Limited. As a result of this transfer, Shri Anand Kumar has assumed the role of General Manager / HoD (Material Management) at Bharat Coking Coal Limited.
Shri Anand Kumar now functions as a Senior Management Personnel of the Company.
The company noted that Shri Anand Kumar has been associated with Bharat Coking Coal Limited since January 1992. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering from Nagpur University and possesses a Second Class Mines Manager's Certificate of Competency.
In his capacity as General Manager (Materials Management), Shri Kumar has extensive experience in the procurement and materials management functions. His professional tenure includes ensuring the consistent availability of materials for various core operations, including washeries, hospital facilities, and mining activities. He has also overseen the procurement of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM), Underground Mining Machinery (UGMM), medical equipment, and scrap disposal activities within the company.
