The subsidiary will undertake activities related to manufacturing products and obtaining product registrations, excluding trading activities.
The acquisition constitutes a related party transaction as Alkem Pharmaceuticals is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alkem Laboratories Limited.
The total cost of acquisition involved the subscription of 3,670 equity shares at a price of AED 1,000 each, totaling AED 3,670,000. Alkem Laboratories now holds 100% ownership of Alkem Pharmaceuticals Scientific Office FZ LLC.
