Afcons Infrastructure Limited noted that the successful execution of projects continues to define the company's trajectory. A key operational milestone achieved during the quarter was the inauguration of India's tallest road cable-stayed bridge on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link Project, which took place on May 1, 2026.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Subramanian Krishnamurthy, Executive Chairman (Whole-time Director), expressed satisfaction with the Q1 FY27 performance. He highlighted that the healthy order inflow of ₹13,219 crore strengthened the company's book to bill ratio to 3.8x.

Mr. Krishnamurthy added that marquee project wins during the quarter included the Croatia rail project and the Vadhavan Port breakwater package, underscoring Afcons' strong technical capabilities and improving momentum in project awards.

He noted that while the financial performance reflected factors from FY26, the company expects stronger execution throughout the second half of the financial year. The successful inauguration of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link Project, a cable-stayed bridge executed by Afcons, was highlighted as a defining milestone in delivering iconic infrastructure for the nation.
