
Adani Group achieves significant renewable capacity milestone with solar project operationalization
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has expanded its operational scale following the commissioning of a new solar power project managed by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited (ARE8L). The project, located in Khavda, Gujarat, adds 150 MW to the group's renewable energy portfolio.The operationalization of this facility was completed on June 28, 2026, after a decision was made at 10.42 p.m. on June 27, 2026, based on relevant clearances.
With the successful integration and commissioning of this new solar power plant, AGEL has significantly increased its operational generation capabilities. The company currently reports a total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,985.8 MW. Furthermore, the group maintains a total operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 3,366 MWh.
The completion of this project underscores AGEL's commitment to scaling up its green energy production across India.
