Ahmedabad – Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL), a leading renewable energy company in India, has reported robust financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. The company achieved significant operational milestones, with its total operational capacity expanding by 35% year-over-year to 19.3 GW, marking the largest greenfield capacity addition globally.

The company’s performance in FY26 demonstrated strong growth across key metrics. Revenue from Power Supply saw a notable increase of 22% year-over-year, reaching Rs 11,602 crore. Furthermore, EBITDA from Power Supply grew by 23%, reported at Rs 10,865 crore, sustaining an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 91%. Cash Profit surged by 11% over the fiscal year, registering at Rs 5,399 crore.

Operational Excellence and Capacity Expansion

The substantial growth in operational capacity is attributed to AGEL's aggressive greenfield development strategy and deployment of advanced renewable energy technologies. The company added 5.1 GW of greenfield capacity in FY26, which represents a 1.5 times greater addition compared to FY25. This new capacity included 3,412 MW of solar capacity (located in Khavda, Gujarat, and Rajasthan), 683 MW wind capacity in Khavda, and 956 MW of solar-wind hybrid capacity, all concentrated at the Khavda project.

The flagship Khavda renewable energy plant is reportedly being developed on barren land covering 538 sq km, setting a global benchmark for ultra large-scale renewable energy development. The company's portfolio currently stands at 19,294 MW of operational capacity and has an associated BESS (battery storage) capacity of 1.4 GWh in Khavda, noted as one of the world's largest single-location deployments.

Corporate Governance and Leadership Changes

The company’s Board of Directors approved several key corporate governance decisions, including the re-appointment of multiple Independent Directors for a second term.

Mr Romesh Sobti was re-appointed as an Independent Director (NonExecutive). Mrs Neera Saggi was also re-appointed as an Independent Director (NonExecutive), and Dr Anup Shah was re-appointed in the capacity of an Independent Director (Non-Executive).

The Board also approved changes in senior management personnel. Mr Raj Kumar Jain, who previously served as Head - Business Development, transitioned to a new role within the Adani Group. Concurrently, Mr Lokesh Kumar Jeengar was appointed as Head - Business Development & Strategy.

Financial Reporting and Oversight

The company has provided audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026. The Board reviewed these results, which were prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Independent Statutory Auditors M/s S R B C & Co. LLP, M/s Shah Dhandharia & Co. LLP, and M/s Dharmesh Parikh & Co. LLP recommended the re-appointment of various firms as Joint Statutory Auditors for a term running from the conclusion of the 11th Annual General Meeting until the conclusion of the 16th Annual General Meeting in the year 2031.

The Board also approved the appointment of M/s T. R. Chadha & Co. LLP as the new Internal Auditor, replacing Mr Tejas Shah due to organizational restructuring.

ADANIGREEN Stock Price Movement​

Adani Green Energy Limited shares today slipped by 4.53% in the post-market session, settling at ₹1472.30 after closing down by ₹69.90. The stock witnessed a sharp intraday decline, with over 3.81 million shares traded during the day.
