Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has enhanced its renewable energy footprint with the operationalization of a new solar power project. Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited (AHEJa5L), a wholly owned subsidiary of AGEL, successfully commissioned a 50 MW solar power facility located in Khavda, Gujarat.The commissioning marks a significant milestone for the company. Following the start of operations on June 1, 2026, AGEL reported achieving a total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,835.8 MW. Furthermore, the company's total operational BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) capacity stands at 3,366 MWh.
The successful commissioning of the Khavda project allows the company to commence power generation from this facility, reinforcing its presence in the renewable power sector.
