In 2009, it added a spheroidal graphite iron foundry to serve the Indian Railways. The company transformed its ingot plant into a steel foundry in 2016. Currently, Abha Power and Steel operates two foundries—SG iron and steel—within its 319,200 square-foot ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing facility at Silpahri Industrial Area, Bilaspur. The facility also includes a captive solar power plant with a capacity of 3 MW, contributing to an annual saving of 3400 MT of Co2 emissions.
