Copper Prices Decline on Weak Domestic Demand
Copper Futures Fall Rs 31.55
New Delhi, March 23 – Copper prices fell by Rs 31.55 to Rs 1,088.65 per kilogram in futures trading on Monday.The decline occurred due to weak demand in the domestic spot market.On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for April delivery decreased by Rs 31.55, or 2.82 percent, to Rs 1,088.65 per kg. Trading volume was 2,562 lots.Traders cited subdued domestic demand from consuming industries as a factor contributing to the price decrease in futures trading.
