
Wipro Secures Multi-Year Transformation Deal with Olam Group; To Acquire Mindsprint
Wipro Limited announced on April 6, 2026, that it has secured a multi-year strategic transformation agreement with Olam Group, a major food and agri-business entity. As part of this comprehensive engagement, Wipro will also acquire Olam Group's IT and digital services business, Mindsprint.Olam Group, headquartered in Singapore, is a leading US$ 50+ 1 Billion food and agri-business, employs nearly 40,000 people, and is majority owned by Temasek Holdings.
The strategic engagement spans eight years and is projected to exceed a contract value of US$ 1 Billion, including a committed spend of US$ 800 Million. Wipro will deliver end-to-end transformation services to Olam Group using a consulting-led, AI-powered approach.
This effort will utilize Wipro's industry expertise, partnerships with leading technology providers, and Wipro Intelligence™, its unified suite of AI-powered platforms, solutions, and transformative offerings, aiming to strengthen Olam Group's core operations and build a sustainable competitive advantage. Wipro's capabilities will be deployed across Olam Group's entire 'farm-to-fork' value chain, focusing on areas such as farming, forecasting, trading, supply chain operations, and customer engagement to improve operational effectiveness and support growth.

Mindsprint Acquisition Details
Under the terms of the acquisition, Mindsprint will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Wipro, pending regulatory approvals and closing conditions. The transaction is expected to close at the quarter ending Q1 FY27, which corresponds to the end of June 2026.Mindsprint, primarily based in India, employs over 3,200 professionals. The unit possesses deep domain expertise in the food and agri-business sector and offers proprietary IP-led solutions, including:
