Waaree Energies Limited announced several leadership changes following a board meeting held on March 20, 2026.Amit Ashok Paithankar has stepped down from his position as Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 20, 2026, which is prior to the previously announced date of May 15, 2026. Mr. Jignesh Devchandbhai Rathod, currently CEO-Designate, has been appointed as Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 21, 2026, pending shareholder approval. Mr. Rathod holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, a master's degree in business administration, and a doctorate in business administration. He has been associated with the company since November 2007 and is currently responsible for overseeing operational functions at the company's factories.
Sonal Shrivastava has resigned from her position as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 20, 2026. Abhishek Pareek, currently Group Head of Finance, has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, effective March 21, 2026. Mr. Pareek brings over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, M&A, Capital Markets, Controllership, FP&A, and has experience in equity fundraising and debt financing.
Additionally, the company appointed Munna Singh as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Varun Goenka as President - Growth & Strategy, both effective April 1, 2026.
