Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd. Obtains Shareholder Approval for Preference Share Redemption Extension
Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd. announced on March 19, 2026, that holders of its 6.50% Non-Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares and 10.00% Non-Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares have approved the extension of the redemption period for the preference shares.The special resolution for the extension was passed by preference shareholders with the requisite majority through a postal ballot process. A Scrutinizer was appointed to oversee the voting process, as per Regulation 44 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
