Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Reports Strong Growth in Deposits and Loans for Fiscal Year 2026​

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited announced key business highlights for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, reporting substantial growth in deposits and loan book.

Deposit Growth:

Total deposits increased by 21.3% year-over-year to ₹45,661 crore compared to ₹37,630 crore in the prior year. The bank’s CASA (Current Account, Savings Account) grew to ₹13,055 crore, a 35.8% increase year-over-year. The CASA ratio stands at 28.6%. The credit-deposit ratio is reported at 89.0%.

Loan Book Expansion:

The gross loan book expanded by 26.6% year-over-year to ₹40,655 crore from ₹32,122 crore in the previous year. Group Loans constitute ₹14,696 crore, while Individual Loans are at ₹6,013 crore. Housing loans increased by 43.4% to ₹10,477 crore. MSME loans rose by 57.9% to ₹3,230 crore.

Disbursement Highlights:

Overall disbursements totaled ₹9,763 crore for the quarter, up 31.4% compared to ₹7,428 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Group Loan disbursements were ₹3,872 crore, and Individual Loan disbursements were ₹1,376 crore.

Asset Quality:

The bank’s PAR (Past Due) stands at 3.54%, a decrease from 3.98% in the prior quarter. GNPA (Gross Non-Performing Assets) is reported at 2.27%.

Write-offs and ARC:

Write-offs for the fiscal year 2026 totaled ₹545 crore, compared to ₹362 crore in the previous year. The bank reported nil amounts in ARC (Asset Reconstruction Company) in the non-written off pool, down from ₹503 crore in the prior year.

Micro Banking Collections:

Collections efficiency for Micro Banking (Group and Individual Loans) Bucket X consistently remained high, with Bihar reporting 99.82% and Maharashtra reporting 99.74% in March 2026.
