
Transpek Industry Limited Board Addresses Fine Levied by BSE Limited
Transpek Industry Limited announced that its Board of Directors convened a meeting on March 26, 2026, to address a fine levied by the BSE Limited. The meeting began at 2:00 p.m. and concluded at 5:45 p.m.The Board discussed the fine in relation to Regulation 31A(3)(a)(ii)/(iii)/(v)/(vi), concerning the delayed submission of an application for reclassification of shares from Promoter to Public Category. The BSE Limited had advised the company to present the matter to the Board and seek comments on the fine levied.
The Board expressed the opinion that the fine was unjustified, stating the company had submitted the application in a different category, deeming it a technical error and not a violation. The company has paid the fine under protest within the designated timeframe and has ensured adherence to BSE Limited’s requirements.
The Board also recommended exercising caution to prevent similar instances in the future.
