Mumbai – March 23, 2026 – Swarna Malhotra, along with persons acting in concert (PAC), has acquired shares in Sunshield Chemicals Limited, according to a filing with the BSE Limited. The acquisition triggers reporting requirements under SEBI’s Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeover Regulations.

The acquirer and PACs include Indus Petrochem Limited, Coppersmith Energies and Project Private Limited, Sudhir Malhotra, and Jeet Malhotra. Mrs. Malhotra and her associates are part of the promoter group.

Prior to the acquisition, the group’s collective holding comprised 82,744 shares (0.94%), Indus Petrochem Limited held 54,84,493 shares (62.36%), Coppersmith Energies and Project Private Limited held 2,77,973 shares (3.16%), Sudhir Malhotra held 837 shares (0.01%), and Jeet Malhotra held 1,505 shares (0.02%).

The acquisition involved 200 shares acquired through open market transactions. Following the acquisition, the group’s total holding stands at 58,47,752 shares, representing 66.49% of the company’s equity.

Sunshield Chemicals Limited’s equity share capital totals Rs. 8,79,48,360.
