Supreme Power Equipment Limited commenced commercial production at its new Chennai based manufacturing facility in Kannur, Thiruvallur District, in February 2026. This expansion significantly enhanced the annual manufacturing capacity from 2,500 MVA to 9,000 MVA, marking a capacity enhancement of approximately 3.6 times. The facility is capable of manufacturing transformers up to 200 MVA and 220 kV rating, positioning the company strongly in the high voltage and large power transformer segment.

Securing Major Orders:
The company secured multiple significant transformer orders from various utility and engineering procurement and construction (EPC) companies:

  • Karnataka Based EPC Company: The company received multiple transformer orders aggregating to ₹ 264.27 Cr. This order includes the supply of 20 MVA, 110/11 kV, 66/11 kV, and 110/33-11 kV Power Transformers, strengthening the order inflow in the power transmission segment.
  • Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation (TNPDC): Cumulative transformer orders worth ₹ 159.94 Cr were received, covering multiple distribution transformers across varied capacities and voltage classes, reinforcing the foothold in the distribution segment.
  • Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB): An order worth ₹ 57.00 Cr was received from KSEB for the supply of 25 MVA, 110/33 kV Power Transformers.
