Ms. Satyavati Berera brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PwC India. She retired from the firm in 2023 after over 40 years managing diverse portfolios and holding key leadership roles.Academically, Ms. Berera is an Economics Graduate from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1984 and became a Partner at Price Waterhouse in 1995.
Prior to becoming COO in 2016, Ms. Berera led the consulting practice and served as the Managing Partner for the firm's northern region. Her tenure included serving as an Audit Partner from 1995 to 2005.
Ms. Berera's professional background spans Assurance, Consulting, and Governance Risk and Compliance services (GRC) across various domestic and multinational sectors. Her experience includes designing and implementing control strengthening and process improvement solutions.
