VA Tech Wabag Secures Mega Order from Chennai Water Board​

VA Tech Wabag has secured a major project through a joint venture with the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.

The contract involves the development of a transmission network for Greater Chennai City and includes the establishment of a city specific water grid platform.

The company classified the order as a “mega” project, indicating a value of ₹1,000 crore or more. Following this win, the company said its total order book has crossed ₹16,300 crore.

Bajel Projects Wins ₹700 Crore Transmission Contract​

Bajel Projects informed stock exchanges that it has secured an order worth ₹700 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd.

The contract covers the construction and operation of power transmission lines along with substation works. The project is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen electricity transmission infrastructure in the state.

Data Patterns Receives ₹288 Crore Order for Doppler Weather Radars​

Data Patterns has secured a contract from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for the supply of 32 Doppler Weather Radars.

The order is valued at ₹288 crore, although the company has not disclosed the execution timeline for the project.

SEAMEC Consortium Bags ₹411 Crore ONGC Contract​

A consortium led by SEAMEC, along with Supreme Hydro, has secured a contract to provide operation and maintenance services for ONGC’s MSV “Samudra Sevak.”

The contract will run for 738 days, covering the 2026 to 2028 period, and will begin within 60 days from the date of the No Objection Certificate (NoA).

The total estimated contract value stands at ₹411 crore.

Other Companies Reporting Fresh Orders​

Several other companies have also reported new contracts:

  • RailTel secured an order worth ₹34 crore from South Central Railway.
  • Dilip Buildcon emerged as the lowest bidder for an EPC road project valued at ₹160 crore.
  • Newgen Software secured an international order worth ₹20.5 crore from Kuwait.
These announcements are expected to keep the respective stocks in focus as investors track order inflows and project execution updates.
