Steelman Telecom Ltd. Holds Extraordinary General Meeting, Seeks Shareholder Approval for Key Matters
Steelman Telecom Ltd., formerly Steelman Telecom Private Limited, convened an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 12:00 noon (IST). The meeting was held at Mani Casadona, Flat No 15E1, Floor No-15, Plot No-IIF/04, Street No-372, Action Area-IIF, New Town, Kolkata -700156.Girish Bindal, Chairman of the Company, chaired the meeting, with Managing Director Mahendra Bindal assuming the chair for Item No. 2. All directors were present. Shareholders were provided with the opportunity to vote electronically from March 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., until March 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
The EGM addressed two special business items:
1. Approval for an increase in the Authorised Share Capital and alteration of the Capital clause in the Memorandum of Association.
2. Approval of Material Related Party Transactions.
Shareholders were given the chance to ask questions and seek clarification on the agenda items, and the Chairman, Directors, and Company Secretary responded.
Results of the e-voting, along with a report from Scrutinizer Saurabh Basu of M/S S. BASU & ASSOCIATES, will be made available on the company’s website and the website of NSDL within 48 hours of the meeting’s conclusion and will be forwarded to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The meeting concluded at 12:30 p.m. (IST).
