Shyam Metalics Reports Consolidated Sales Release for March 2026 and Q4 FY26​

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited reported its consolidated sales release for March 2026 and the fourth quarter ending March, 2026 (Q4 FY26), detailing performance across multiple metal segments including Stainless Steel, Aluminium Foil, Pellet, Speciality Alloys, Carbon Steel, CR Coil/CR Sheets, HR Tube/Pipe, Sponge Iron, and Pig Iron.

Stainless Steel Performance​

For Stainless Steel, the company noted significant year-over-year growth. On a full-year basis, volume increased by 11.49% while realizations grew by 6.73%. The monthly performance for March FY26 showed a volume increase of 58.91% Year over Year (YoY), accompanied by a 19.01% increase in realizations YoY. Furthermore, the quarterly performance reflected a 22.46% increase in volumes Quarter over Quarter (QoQ), with realizations rising by 4.89% QoQ.

Aluminium Foil Highlights​

In the Aluminium Foil segment, the company reported a 3.99% increase in volume on a full-year basis, with realizations increasing by 10.40% on a full-year basis. March FY26 volumes saw an 8.51% YoY increase, and realizations rose by 18.48% YoY. Quarterly sales volumes showed a 5.27% QoQ increase, and realizations grew by 7.81% QoQ.

Pellet Segment Updates​

Pellet sales showed strong growth across the financial year. On a full-year basis, volumes increased by 39.90%, and realizations grew by 5.09%. Year over Year comparisons for March showed a volume increase of 44.31% YoY, while realizations increased by 10.92% YoY. Month over Month (MoM) for March, volume increased by 76.39%, and realizations were up by 0.37% MoM. Quarter over Quarter (QoQ) volume experienced a decline of 0.12%, with realizations increasing by 4.36% QoQ.

Speciality Alloys Movement​

For Speciality Alloys, volume increased by 11.88% on a full-year basis, though realizations declined by 2.15% over the same period. Year over Year analysis for March showed an 8.64% volume increase and a 12.88% realization increase. The figures show that QoQ, volumes declined by 3.45%, while realizations rose by 6.95%.

Carbon Steel Performance​

Carbon Steel sales indicated a 2.15% volume increase on a full-year basis, contrasted by a 3.27% decrease in realizations. On a YoY basis for March, volumes increased by 3.09%, and realizations rose by 3.74%. Quarterly results for Q4 showed a 10.47% volume increase and a 12.69% realization increase QoQ.

CR Coil/CR Sheets Analysis​

The CR Coil/CR Sheets segment reported substantial growth in volumes, which increased by 715.96% on a full-year basis, accompanied by an 11.13% rise in realizations. March FY26 volumes saw a significant 94.78% YoY increase, while realizations increased by 18.56% YoY. Quarter over Quarter (QoQ), volumes increased by 6.13%, and realizations rose by 6.22%.

HR Tube/Pipe Metrics​

Regarding HR Tube/Pipe, the full-year volume increase was noted at 936.87%, with realizations rising by 5.32%. For March, YoY sales volumes recorded a 35.93% decrease, although realizations increased by 18.58% YoY. Month over Month (MoM) for March saw a volume increase of 3.66% and realization increase of 8.56%. QoQ, volumes decreased by 9.11%, while realizations increased by 4.43%.

Sponge Iron Trends​

Sponge Iron reported a 10.86% decrease in sales volume on a full-year basis, with realizations declining by 6.50% full year. On a YoY basis for March, volume saw a 2.33% decrease, but realizations were up 1.98% YoY. Quarterly metrics showed that volumes decreased by 14.83% QoQ, while realizations increased by 10.85% QoQ.

Pig Iron Growth​

Pig Iron demonstrated considerable growth metrics. The full-year sales volume increased by 596.56%, and realizations were up by 0.37%. YoY for March showed a substantial volume increase of 245.37%, alongside a 7.05% realization increase. Quarter over Quarter (QoQ), volumes increased by 34.52%, and realizations increased by 15.93%.

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited, a conglomerate operating in carbon steel, stainless steel, speciality alloys, and aluminium foil, stated that its operations include captive power plants. The company highlighted that leftover side-slitted HR coils are repurposed for manufacturing rectangular hollow section (RHS) and square hollow section (SHS) pipes in its colour-coated plant.
