Rail Vikas Nigam Limited Receives LOA from South Central Railway for OHE Upgradation Project
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from South Central Railway for an Overhead Equipment (OHE) upgradation project. The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of an OHE system upgrade from 1x25kV to 2x25kV AT Feeding System with feeder and earthing works.The work will be executed in the Ongole (OGL) to Gudur (GDR) section of the Vijayawada Division under South Central Railway, spanning a total length of 154 Route Kilometers (RKM) and 462 Track Kilometers (TKM). The project’s completion is slated for 24 months.
The value of the contract is Rs 242,49,86,547.22, including applicable taxes. According to the company, the project falls within the normal course of its business operations. No related parties have an interest in the entity that awarded the order.
