PVR INOX Opens New 3-Screen Multiplex in New Delhi
PVR INOX Limited announced the opening of a new three-screen multiplex at DLF Midtown Plaza in Moti Nagar, New Delhi, on March 23, 2026. The new cinema features a seating capacity of 414, with premium recliner seating in the last two rows of each auditorium. It is equipped with a cutting-edge projection system, Dolby 7.1 surround sound system, and a next-generation 3D system.The multiplex’s lobby is designed as a lounge-style environment with natural greenery, layered textures, and warm lighting. The cinema offers a variety of refreshments through two food and beverage counters. Each auditorium features distinct colour themes in shades of green, blue, and gold. Digital ticketing kiosks and streamlined entry zones are also included to enhance the overall guest experience.
With this launch, PVR INOX operates 1,802 screens across 360 properties in 114 cities in India and Sri Lanka. The company now operates 114 screens across 28 properties in Delhi and 486 screens across 103 properties across North India.
According to Ajay Bijli, Managing Director of PVR INOX Limited, the expansion reflects the company's commitment to key urban markets and its strategy of investing in high-potential neighbourhood destinations. Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director, added that the cinema aims to be a future-forward entertainment hub, blending design, technology, and hospitality.
