Punjab National Bank Announces Changes in Senior Management Effective April 4, 2026​

Punjab National Bank has detailed changes in its senior management effective April 4, 2026. The updates concern several key personnel roles within the bank's operational structure.

Two senior executives, Sanjay Gupta and Rajesh Prasad, are noted for changes in their head office roles.

Sanjay Gupta, previously serving as Chief General Manager, Operations (ADC & Recon and Data Privacy & Management) at the Head Office, will assume the role of Chief General Manager, Data Privacy & Management Division, Head Office. Mr. Gupta possesses a Master of Science degree and holds a Certificate in Prevention of Cyber Crime & Fraud Management and KYCAML. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAlIB) and brings over 34 years of experience with the bank.

Rajesh Prasad, who was Chief General Manager, Operations (General Banking Division and Customer Care Centre), Head Office, has been reassigned as Chief General Manager, Operation Division (General Banking Division, Customer Care Centre, ADC & Recon), Head Office. Mr. Prasad holds an M.Tech and a PhD in Management, alongside a Master of Business Administration and a Master in Computer Science. He is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAlIB) and has accumulated over 23 years of experience at the bank.

In addition to these changes, two other personnel appointments were noted:

• Mahendar P, who previously held the role of Zonal Manager at the Zonal Office Chennai, is now appointed as General Manager, Zonal Office Chennai (OSD). Mr. Mahendar has a Master of Arts degree and is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAlIB), with more than 36 years of experience in the bank.
• Priyankar Pandey, formerly Zonal Manager GM, Zonal Office, Jaipur, is now General Manager, Zonal Office, Jaipur. Mr. Pandey holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers(CAlIB), bringing over 32 years of experience to the bank.
