Power Finance Corporation Limited Transfers Wagdari Transmission Limited to KCC Buildcon Private Limited​

Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) announced the transfer of Wagdari Transmission Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PFC Consulting Limited, to KCC Buildcon Private Limited on March 27, 2026. The transfer was completed as part of a sale process initiated earlier.

KCC Buildcon Private Limited emerged as the successful bidder for Wagdari Transmission Limited, which was established for the development of the "Transmission Scheme for Establishment of 400/220 kV AIS Wagdari (Dist, Solapur)."

The consideration for the acquisition was Rs. 4,41,10,826, as detailed in the Share Purchase Agreement. KCC Buildcon Private Limited is not affiliated with PFC's promoter group.

The transaction does not constitute a related party transaction and is not classified as a slump sale. The sale consideration was determined in accordance with guidelines issued by the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

Wagdari Transmission Limited contributed negligibly to PFC's turnover or revenue during the last financial year.
