Polycab India Limited Re-appoints Independent Directors​

Polycab India Limited announced the re-appointment of two Independent Directors at a Board meeting held on April 3, 2026. The decisions, which are subject to member approval via Postal Ballot, were made based on recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Ms. Sutapa Banerjee (DIN:02844650) has been re-appointed for a second term of 2 consecutive years, commencing May 13, 2026, and ending May 12, 2028. Mr. Bhaskar Sharma (DIN:02871367) has been re-appointed for a second term of 4 consecutive years, commencing May 12, 2026, and ending May 11, 2030. Neither director is liable to retire by rotation.

Ms. Banerjee brings over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Sharma is a business leader and marketing expert with experience across Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East.

Neither director is related to any of the Company’s Promoters, Members of the Promoter Group, or Directors. Additionally, both directors are not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or any other authority.
