
Parmeshwar Metal Ltd. Receives Order from GST Authority
Gandhinagar, India – March 26, 2026 – Parmeshwar Metal Ltd. announced today that it received an order from the Deputy Commissioner of State Tax (Enforcement) Division-03, Gandhinagar.The order, issued March 26, 2026, confirms a tax demand of ₹3.43 crore, along with interest and penalties totaling ₹7.44 crore, under the Central Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 (CGST Act, 2017) and the Gujarat Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 (GJGST Act, 2017). The order relates to allegations of inadmissible Input Tax Credit (ITC) received from non-existent suppliers/tax defaulters.
Parmeshwar Metal Ltd. intends to file an appeal before the Appellate Authority and believes the demand is without merit and expected to be overturned during appellate proceedings. The company does not anticipate a material impact on its financial or operational activities as a result of the order.
