Orient Green Power Reports Progress on Wind Turbine Project
Orient Green Power Company Limited announced on March 21, 2026, that its subsidiary, Gamma Green Power Private Limited, has completed the erection of two 3.3 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs) manufactured by Envision, totaling 6.6 MW in capacity. The project, located in Tiruchirappalli District, Tamil Nadu, involves a turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract with Renfra Energy India Limited.Gamma received service connection for the completed WTGs on March 20, 2026. Remaining procedural formalities are underway, with full commissioning expected shortly. Implementation of the remaining 3.3 MW capacity is currently in progress.
This development signifies Orient Green Power’s entry into power generation using higher-capacity WTGs.
