OCCL Limited announced on March 24, 2026, that the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, has initiated an anti-dumping duty absorption review concerning imports of 'Insoluble Sulphur' originating in or exported from China PR. The notification, dated March 20, 2026 (Case No. AD (AA)-02/2026), was published in the e-Gazette on March 24, 2026.

The review was initiated in response to an application filed by OCCL Limited, a domestic producer, alleging absorption of the existing anti-dumping duty, rendering the duty ineffective.

At this stage, there is no immediate material impact on the financial or operational performance of the company. OCCL Limited stated it will actively participate in the review proceedings to safeguard its interests. The company will keep the stock exchanges informed of any further developments.

The review pertains to imports of 'Insoluble Sulphur' with a review period of July 2025 to December 2025. The applicant has claimed a decline in export prices during this period, potentially indicating absorption of the anti-dumping duty.
