NTPC Green Energy Reports Commercial Operation of Additional Capacity
NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, announced the commencement of commercial operations for additional renewable energy capacity on April 2, 2026.According to a filing, the fourth part capacity of 37.5 MW Solar from a 150 MW Solar Project in Gujarat, operated by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a step down subsidiary of the joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, began commercial operations.
Additionally, the seventh part capacity of 13.2 MW Wind from a 100 MW Hybrid Project in Gujarat, also operated by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a step down subsidiary of the joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, achieved commercial operation. This project also includes 37.5 MW of Solar capacity.
The current commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group is 10,075.70 MW. With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group increases to 10,126.40 MW.
NTPC Green Energy Limited is listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited under the Trading Symbol NTPCGREEN and the BSE Limited under the Scrip Code 544289.
