NHPC Signs Implementation Agreement for Hydroelectric Projects
NHPC Limited announced on March 27, 2026, the signing of an Implementation Agreement with Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited (JKSPDCL) for the development of the 240 MW Uri-I Stage-II and 260 MW Dulhasti Stage-II Hydroelectric Projects in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.The projects will be developed by NHPC on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis for a period of 40 years. The agreement was signed in Jammu.
