Network18 Appoints Raj Kumar Jain as Independent Director
Network18 Media & Investments Limited announced the appointment of Raj Kumar Jain as an Additional Director designated as Independent Director, effective March 25, 2026. The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Jain’s term will be for a period of five consecutive years, extending up to March 24, 2031, pending approval from the company’s members.Mr. Raj Kumar Jain, aged 67, holds an engineering degree from Delhi College of Engineering and an MBA from Kellogg School of Business. He brings extensive experience as a veteran corporate professional and entrepreneur. Prior to founding Bounce Inc. in 2020, he served as Chief Executive Officer of The Times of India Group and spearheaded Walmart Inc.’s entry into India. He previously held leadership roles at Whirlpool Corporation and Hindustan Lever Ltd. He is the Managing Director of Clicktech Retail Private Limited and is involved with Sabhyata Foundation, dedicated to preserving India’s historical monuments and cultural heritage.
According to company disclosures, Mr. Jain is not related to any other director and is not debarred from holding a director position by any regulatory authority.
