National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT) has announced details regarding the acquisition of its units, as disclosed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015.The disclosure, received by National Highways Infra Investment Managers Private Limited, the Investment Manager to NHIT, pertains to an allotment of 1,00,85,000 units of NHIT. The total value of the acquisition amounted to ₹15,43,00,05,000.
Following the acquisition, the total number of securities held is 22,44.54,500, representing 10.50% of the total holdings. Prior to the acquisition, the holdings were 21.43,69.500, representing 11.07% of the total holdings.
The acquisition was made on March 25, 2026, and the intimation to the manager was also provided on the same date.
