
LTM to Implement MIT Open Learning's Universal AI for Workforce Development
LTIM announced that its workforce will gain access to Universal AI, a dynamic online learning experience provided by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Open Learning. This initiative is being delivered in cooperation with upGrad Enterprise as part of LTM's commitment to integrating foundational AI reasoning across its talent pool.The program is designed to empower LTM employees in both tech and non-tech functions. The goal is to prepare the workforce with scientific thinking and first-principles reasoning skills, enabling them to make informed, logic-driven decisions that support client growth in an AI-driven economy.
MIT Open Learning's Universal AI program covers how AI systems function, the technologies powering them, and the ethical considerations related to their deployment. It is a self-paced learning experience featuring 16 foundational modules and vertical-specific modules, and notably, requires no coding.
Gururaj Deshpande, Chief Delivery Officer at LTM, stated that strategic workforce upskilling is vital for building impactful AI-led solutions, given the rapid advancement of AI. "Deploying this cutting-edge MIT Open Learning program through our upGrad partnership will strengthen our AI expertise that will define the next era of innovation," Deshpande said.
