Smt. Lata Madampath has been appointed as the Executive Director (Personnel), Central Office, Mumbai. Her appointment follows her elevation to a higher post. Smt. Madampath joined the Corporation in 1990 as an Assistant and was subsequently selected as a Direct Recruit Officer of the 19th Batch in 1992. She holds a degree in Mathematics and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. Her extensive career spans over 35 years, during which she has held various capacities, including Manager (Personnel & Industrial Relations), Manager (Claims), and Manager (New Business) at the Divisional level. Her experience also includes roles as Secretary (Personnel & Industrial Relations), Zonal Vigilance Officer, and Regional Manager (Customer Relationship Management/Policy Servicing) in the South Zone, Chennai. Furthermore, she served as Secretary at the Council for Insurance Ombudsman, Kochi (previously known as the Office of the Insurance Ombudsman). Prior to assuming her role as Executive Director (Personnel), Central Office, she served as Regional Manager (Personnel & Industrial Relations), Western Zone.
Mr. Gourab Chand has been appointed as the Executive Director (Chief Life Insurance Advisor), Central Office, Mumbai, also due to an elevation to a higher post. Mr. Chand began his association with the Corporation in 1992 as an Assistant Administrative Officer and possesses a post graduate degree in Science. His career trajectory included serving as Senior Divisional Manager for the Asansol, Kolkata- Suburban, and Howrah Divisions. He has also occupied various positions within the Western Zone and the Central Office. Before taking charge as Executive Director (Chief Life Insurance Advisor), Central Office, he was the Regional Manager (Pension & Group Schemes), Western Zone.
