
Lemon Tree Hotels Expands Presence in Gujarat with New Signing in Garudeshwar
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has strengthened its footprint in Gujarat by announcing the signing of a new property, the Lemon Tree Hotel, Garudeshwar. This expansion marks the brand's 32nd property in the state, emphasizing the group's strategic focus on growing its presence in tourism and pilgrimage-led markets.The new Garudeshwar hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. The property is designed to feature 90 well-appointed rooms, alongside various amenities, including a restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting room, a swimming pool, spa, and a fitness center.
This latest addition contributes significantly to the company's portfolio in Gujarat. The state now hosts a total of 32 Lemon Tree properties, comprising 11 currently operational sites and 21 properties that are slated for the future.
The company highlighted that Gujarat is experiencing robust growth in the tourism sector, fueled by landmark attractions like the Statue of Unity and increasing interest in spiritual and cultural travel. Garudeshwar is noted as an emerging and important destination within this ecosystem, benefiting from improving infrastructure and proximity to key attractions, which supports a steady flow of visitors.
Connectivity to the new hotel is convenient, with Vadodara International Airport located approximately 85 km away, and Ekta Nagar Railway Station situated around 5 km from the property.
Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Neelendra Singh, Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., stated that destinations such as Garudeshwar are becoming crucial nodes within India’s expanding tourism and pilgrimage landscape. He noted that increasing visitor flows are boosting demand for quality, branded hospitality, and that this signing reflects the company's approach to building presence in locations with sustained demand supported by strong travel circuits.
