KP Group Surpasses 1 GW Energised IPP Capacity Milestone

KP Group has achieved a significant milestone, crossing 1 GW in energised Independent Power Producer (IPP) capacity from a total IPP portfolio of 2.3 GW. This marks a key step in the group's long-term growth strategy anchored around IPP development.

Since Fiscal Year 2021, when the group had an energised capacity of 58 MW, it has achieved approximately 18x growth over five years. The momentum in Fiscal Year 2026 has been particularly strong, with substantial capacity additions and multiple projects commissioned ahead of schedule.

KP Group is progressing ahead of schedule toward its vision of achieving 10 GW total capacity by 2030 across both IPP and CPP portfolios. The current growth trajectory is supported by a robust pipeline and disciplined project delivery.

KP Group also achieved financial closure across its active IPP pipeline, backed by leading institutional lenders.

Commenting on the milestone, Dr. Faruk Patel, Founding Promoter KP Group, stated that the group remains committed to accelerating its growth and creating long-term value for stakeholders.

Established in 1994, KP Group has expertise in renewable energy, infrastructure, and innovation. The group has renewable energy projects, contributing to India's green energy mission.
