The notices pertain to Assessment Years 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24.The total demand raised against the company aggregates to Rs. 5,45,61,668. The notices were received on March 24 and 25, 2026, with most arriving after business hours on March 24.
According to the Assessment Orders passed under Section 147 read with Section 144 of the Income-tax Act, the Income Tax Department has treated certain amounts as deemed income. The company states it does not agree with the observations and adjustments made and intends to contest the matter before the relevant appellate authorities.
Kaushalya Infrastructure believes it has strong legal and factual grounds to challenge the orders and will take necessary steps accordingly.
