
Kallam Textiles Receives Caveat Petition in High Court of Telangana
Kallam Textiles Limited announced on March 18, 2026, that it has received a caveat petition in the High Court of Telangana at Hyderabad. The petition was served by an advocate on behalf of Union Bank of India.The caveat petition, filed under Section 148-A of the Code of Civil Procedure, relates to a loan facility availed by Kallam Textiles. Union Bank of India expressed apprehension that Kallam Textiles or its directors – Poluri Venkateswara Reddy (Managing Director) and Gurram Venkata Krishna Reddy (Joint Managing Director) – may challenge the sale/auction proceedings through a writ petition. The bank is seeking a court order requiring notice to be served on the bank or its counsel before any such orders are passed.
