Three-Year Initiative to Boost Job Readiness in Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR

New Delhi, February 24: American Express India on Tuesday announced a three-year partnership with Magic Bus India Foundation to equip young people with employability and digital skills, helping them navigate an increasingly competitive and technology-driven economy.

Under the initiative, nearly 3,000 young people across Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR will receive industry-relevant technical training along with essential life skills aimed at strengthening their employment prospects.

Focus on Cloud, AI and Cybersecurity Training

The program provides structured job-readiness training covering high-demand areas such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and IT fundamentals. Alongside technical modules, participants are also trained in transferable life skills that focus on personal, professional, and future readiness.

The curriculum is designed to build industry-relevant competencies including communication, adaptability, problem-solving, interpersonal and collaborative skills, decision-making, and digital and financial literacy.

Mentorship, Placement and Post-Employment Support

Beyond classroom learning, the initiative integrates mentorship, sector-specific orientation, and interview preparation to ensure participants are ready for the job market.

Candidates will be placed in entry-level, customer-centric roles across service sectors. The program also extends post-placement support to promote employment retention, career growth, and long-term stability.

With a clear focus on strengthening workforce preparedness in key urban centres, the partnership seeks to create sustainable employment pathways for young individuals entering the digital economy.
