International Gemmological Institute (India) Limited announced that its members have approved a change of name and consequent alterations to the company’s Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association. The resolution was passed during a postal ballot held between February 18, 2026, and March 19, 2026.

A total of 1,84,910 members were eligible to vote. The voting results, as detailed in a report by Scrutinizer Tushar Shridharani & Associates LLP, showed that 33,08,35,803 shares out of 33,08,35,803 shares voted in favor of the resolution, representing 100% of the votes polled. Public institutional shareholders cast 5,21,54,097 votes in favor out of 5,21,54,097 votes polled, representing 80.3148% of outstanding shares. Public non-institutional shareholders cast 96,748 votes in favor out of 99,505 votes polled, representing 97.2293% of votes polled.
