Indus Towers Appoints New COO, Announces Leadership Transition​

Indus Towers Limited announced changes to its senior leadership team on March 30, 2026. Tejinder Singh Kalra, the current Chief Operating Officer (COO), will retire from the company on August 31, 2026, upon attaining superannuation.

To ensure a smooth transition, Venkatesh Tiwari has been appointed as the new COO, effective April 1, 2026. Kalra will continue in his role as COO until June 30, 2026, and will then cease to be a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) while assisting with the transition until his retirement.

The company expressed appreciation for Kalra’s contributions during his tenure.

Venkatesh Tiwari brings nearly 28 years of leadership experience across various sectors, including e-commerce, telecommunications, and logistics. He most recently held leadership positions at Amazon, where he oversaw Quick commerce and third-party logistics operations. Previously, he held leadership roles at Samsung, Airtel, and Perfetti. Tiwari holds a B. Tech from BIT Mesra and an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
