New Delhi, February 16: In-Solutions Global Ltd, widely known as ISG, has received regulatory authorization from the Reserve Bank of India across all three Payment Aggregator categories, strengthening its position in India’s digital payments ecosystem.
The approvals cover online, offline, and cross-border segments and have been granted under the latest RBI Master Directions for 2025-26.
RBI Payment Aggregator Licenses Strengthen ISG’s Compliance Framework
With this development, ISG becomes part of a select group of non-bank ecosystem players permitted to support merchant payments across domestic and international channels within a unified and fully compliant framework. The three approvals enable ISG to offer enterprises, banks, marketplaces, and digital platforms a single payment aggregation stack. This integrated system is designed to manage online transactions, in-person payments, and cross-border import and export flows through a unified onboarding and settlement environment.
Unified Payment Stack for Omnichannel Commerce
Following the online Payment Aggregator Online and offline Payment Aggregator Physical approvals, ISG plans to expand its omnichannel merchant acceptance capabilities. The company said its unified onboarding and settlement framework will operate seamlessly across digital and physical environments. Key components include deployment of Soft POS and proximity-based payment solutions to accelerate in-person acceptance.
ISG will also provide deeper integrations for marketplaces and digital platforms. These integrations will cover tokenization, payouts, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation processes. Additionally, the framework supports both bank-led and fintech-led acquiring programs built on ISG’s global switching and payment infrastructure.
Cross-Border Authorization Expands Global Reach
The Payment Aggregator Cross Border authorization further enhances ISG’s global capabilities. Alongside its International Financial Services Centres Authority license and international regulatory credentials, the approval positions the company to support compliant cross-border payment flows across multiple jurisdictions.Adelia Castelino, Co-founder and Managing Director of ISG, said that as India’s digital commerce and cross-border trade continue to expand, merchants and financial institutions require partners that are compliant and future-ready. She stated that ISG aims to meet that requirement through its integrated and regulated payment infrastructure.
The combined approvals mark a significant regulatory milestone for ISG, enabling it to operate a comprehensive payment aggregation framework spanning online, offline, and international transaction channels.
