HMT Limited Appoints N. Ramesh Kumar as Chairman and Managing Director (Additional Charge)
HMT Limited announced that N. Ramesh Kumar, Executive Director (SBD) of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), has been appointed as the Additional Charge of Chairman and Managing Director, effective March 25, 2026. The appointment was approved by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, through an order dated March 24, 2026.This appointment is for a period of one year or until a regular incumbent joins, whichever occurs first, and is subject to the approval of the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
The company is currently completing the necessary appointment formalities in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013 and the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
