Hero MotoCorp Records 24% Dispatch Growth in Q4 2026, Closes FY 2026 with 10% Volume Growth
Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported a strong performance in March 2026, with dispatches of 598,198 units compared to 549,604 units in the same period last year. Retail performance also remained robust during the month, with 542,436* VAHAN registrations indicating a growth of approximately 24%. The data is based on VAHAN registrations excluding Telangana, as of April 1, 2026.The company noted demand led by the 100-125cc segment, with double-digit growth in the scooter segment. This performance was supported by a strengthened product portfolio and scale-up of the Glamour and Xtreme range of motorcycles. Demand in rural markets improved, aided by early festive tailwinds.
VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s Emerging Mobility business, continued its growth trajectory with a monthly VAHAN registration of 21,434, recording a ~70% month-on-month growth in sales volume. Vida dispatches recorded full-year growth of 154% in FY26. VIDA unveiled the VX2 Plus - KKR Limited Edition as part of its partnership with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The Vida V2 & Vida VX2 models reinforced their leadership in the electric scooter segment, emerging as the highest-ranked models in the 2026 India Two-Wheeler Initial Quality Study by J.D. Power.
The Company's Global Business recorded its highest ever dispatches with a growth of approximately 16% in March 2026, with 45,693 units compared to 39,518 units in the same period last year. The segment also recorded an all-time high of approximately 40% dispatch growth in FY26, driven by strong demand for premium portfolio products in key international markets.
Hero MotoCorp also hosted the Hero India Open in partnership with the DP World Tour and the Indian Golf Union, with Alex Fitzpatrick clinching his maiden DP World Tour title. The Hero MotoSports Team Rally achieved a top-10 finish at Rally Raid Portugal 2026.
