Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited Discloses Promoter Group Share Purchase
Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited announced that Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GNFC), a promoter of the company, purchased 10,600 equity shares on March 27, 2026.According to a filing, the shares were acquired at a price of ₹63,18,169.34 inclusive of all charges. Following the purchase, GNFC’s shareholding in Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited stands at 24,94,365 shares, representing 3.40% of the company’s equity.
GNFC has committed to holding the acquired equity shares for a minimum period of six months and will seek approval from the Compliance Officer if a sale is necessary before that time.
The transaction was executed on the INSE exchange. GNFC has also committed to preserving relevant documentation, including broker’s contract notes and bank statements, for a period of three years.
