Ahmedabad, June 1, 2026: In a significant recognition of a prominent Gujarat business legacy, the Government of India unveiled a ₹5 Corporate Stamp. This commemorative stamp honors Late Shri Tejmal Ji Mangal, whose entrepreneurial vision established the foundation of the Mangal Family business on June 1, 1942. The stamp serves as a tribute to a business journey that has evolved into a diverse industrial legacy spanning over 84 years.

The unveiling took place at the headquarters of Mangalam Global Enterprise Limited (MGEL) in Ahmedabad. Attendees at the ceremony included Mr. Vipin Prakash Mangal, Chairman of MGEL, along with members of the fourth generation of the family business, Mr. Chanakya Prakash Mangal and Mr. Chandragupt Prakash Mangal. Distinguished guests from the Department of Posts present included Shri Ganesh V. Sawaleshwarkar, Chief Postmaster General, Gujarat Circle, and Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, Headquarters Region, Ahmedabad.

The event highlighted the deep roots and sustained growth of the Mangal family enterprise. Mr. Vipin Prakash Mangal stated that the journey began with unwavering values of integrity and perseverance in 1942. He remarked that the Government of India's recognition is "a recognition not just of an individual, but of a journey that has been nurtured across four generations."

The commemoration underscored the continuity of leadership and commitment, enabling the business group to transition and expand its footprint while remaining rooted in the principles set by its founder.
