Globe Civil Projects Limited Receives Income Tax Demand Notice​

Globe Civil Projects Limited announced today, March 30, 2026, that it has received a notice of demand under Section 156 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, from the office of the Dy. Commissioner of Income Tax Central Circle-27, Delhi. The demand pertains to the Assessment Year 2018-19 and totals Rs. 80,19,790.

The company is currently analyzing the order and intends to file an appeal with the Deputy Commissioner (Appeals) of Income-tax/ Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals)-29, New Delhi. Globe Civil Projects Limited stated that the penalty is not expected to have a material impact on the company's financials, operations, or other activities.

The order was dated March 27, 2026, and the company received intimation of the notice on March 29, 2026. The demand of Rs. 80,19,790 arose from reassessment proceedings conducted under Sections 147/148 of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
