Genesis Exports Private Limited has acquired 15,000 equity shares in La Opala RG Limited through open market transactions on March 20, 2026. The acquisition, as disclosed under SEBI’s Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers Regulations, 2011, increased Genesis Exports’ holding to 7,34,00,000 shares, representing 66.13% of the total share/voting capital and 66.13% of the total diluted share/voting capital of La Opala RG Limited.Prior to this acquisition, Genesis Exports and its persons acting in concert held 7,33,85,000 shares, equivalent to 66.11% of the company’s equity. The total equity share capital of La Opala RG Limited is 111,000,000 shares with a face value of ₹2 per share.
Genesis Exports Private Limited is part of the promoter group of La Opala RG Limited, with Abhyuday Jhunjhunwala identified as part of the promoter group. The total holding of the acquirer and persons acting in concert, including Ajit Jhunjhunwala, Gyaneshwari Devi Jhunjhunwala, Sushil Jhunjhunwala, Shruti Kishorepuria, Nidhi Jhunjhunwala, Ishita Jhunjhunwala, and Abhyuday Jhunjhunwala, currently amounts to 5,20,75,000, 84,00,000, 49,75,000, 40,50,000, 16,00,000, 9,00,000, and 7,00,000 respectively.
