Mumbai – General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) announced on March 23, 2026, the completion of Ms. Vinita Kumari's term as an Independent Director on the company’s board. Consequently, Ms. Kumari ceased to serve as an Independent Director effective at the close of business hours on March 23, 2026.The company expressed appreciation for Ms. Kumari’s contributions and guidance during her tenure. GIC’s stock is listed on the BSE under the code 540755 and on the NSE as GICRE.
